The CASI level 3 Course is geared for the advanced rider that loves to teach, has passed their CASI Level 2, CASI Park 1, and is looking to progress their teaching skills for a career in the snowboard industry.
Our team will help you improve your teaching communication, upgrade your freeride and freestyle skills, refine your rider analysis and feedback, and sharpen your class management and group safety. You will receive personal riding feedback while getting lots of mileage (including video analysis), observe coach led example lessons, participate and lead practice lessons, and discuss CASI course content and methodologies.
The Pro Ride program will prepare campers to take the 5 day level 3 pre-course and be ready for the final 3 day exam where you will be examined on your riding, teaching and pedagogy.

The number of weeks you will need to prepare is very individual and will depend on your riding level and any previous level 3 training and experience teaching within a snow school. All riders should be advanced on groomed runs, off piste, and in the terrain park and be able to show your students high quality demos in various terrain and conditions.
Before starting the 4 week Pro Ride training, candidates must have passed their CASI 2 and Park 1 certifications. After the course there will be a CASI 5 Day pre-course scheduled the 1st week of April and the final 3 day exam the 2nd week of April for those looking to stay on in Whistler and move through the exam phase.
If you need to pass your Park 1 certification Pro Ride will be running Park training during the months of January and February.
