Coaches Crispin and Katie make the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics

This morning the official announcement was made that both Pro Ride coaches Crispin Lipscomb and Katie Tsuyuki made it into the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, competing in halfpipe for the Canadian snowboard team.

Both athletes spent the past few month working hard and training together for the upcoming Winter Olympics, to be held in Sochi between the 7th and 23rd of February. Whistler local Crispin decribes his relationship with Squamish's Katie as 'coach-letes' in last week's Pique Magazine interview. They have been sharing the coaching and riding back and forth, getting ready to compete at a number of Olympic Qualifying Events in Cardrona New Zealand, Ruka Finland and Stoneham Quebec. It has worked out to be a very rewarding partnership, as they found out on Tuesday morning that they have each secured a place in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics next month.

Congrats guys we are all super stoked for you both.
